Mohammad Bagher Heydari received the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering, majoring in microwave and optics, from the Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2014. From 2014 to 2020, he worked as a Research Assistant at the Photonics Laboratory, Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST), Tehran, Iran. In 2020, he obtained the Ph.D. degree with the highest honors in electrical engineering, majoring in fields and waves, from the IUST with a focus on Graphene Plasmonics. In 2023, he joined Imam Khomeini International University (IKIU), where he currently serves as an assistant professor. He has also been a scientific reviewer of several journals in IEEE, Springer, Elsevier and OSA publishers. His research interests span graphene plasmonics, nano-photonics, metasurfaces, and non-reciprocal devices.   

As of August 2024, he has authored or co-authored more than 40 publications cited in aggregate> 850 times by citation metrics: h-index=18 (Google Scholar) and i10-index=37 (Google Scholar). He received several awards, including the IUST Award for outstanding PhD thesis in 2020 and the “Shahid Tehrani Moghaddam Prize” of the National Elites Foundation in 2021.
